Luxor Hotel Las Vegas

Along the route to the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino tram form Excalibur is the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas. If you are staying at Excalibur or Mandalay Bay, or just checking out what the Las Vegas strip has to offer, we highly recommend a few things to do in these parts of the strip, one involves the interesting experiences we encountered at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas.
Our first time visiting the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas was actually years ago while first riding the Mandalay Bay tram. We ended up stopping at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas. It was quite an interesting experience to be met face to face with a giant sphinx.
Once we stumbled our way into the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas we looked up and realized we were at some point inside a giant pyramid.
The hallways to the rooms seemed to line the inner perimeter and as I watched people walk by I could not help to wonder if those “rails” were high enough. In either case, it was a really great experience! So, we found a Starbucks there, grabbed coffee, checked out some shows and wandered into the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas casino.
As we wandered about, we ran into one of our first experiences of playing Rapid Roulette.
This game is very addictive! It moves so fast and doesn’t cost a lot at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas so we thought we would hang out for a bit.
I didn’t win anything but my friend did. However, as I was busy losing my money, I noticed that the cocktails kept coming.
This is not because I was losing my money, as they continued after the roulette session at the penny slots.
We ended up hanging out at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas for quite a while and as each hour progressed, so do the population of club goers and fun people.
By around 12am, there were really awesome people everywhere at Rapid Roulette, slots and more. Many of them attending the LAX Luxor Las Vegas club which through a little investigation proves to be quite an awesome club as all ten or so of the people we interviewed had described it.
We were not dressed appropriately enough, in our opinion to enter a club like the brand new LAX which we highly respect, being from L.A., so we decided to put that on our list of places to go.
The Luxor Hotel Las Vegas not only offers great clubbing experiences and gaming, but also some really interesting shows. They have a great theater in there in case you would like an IMAX type of show.
Some of our friends have stayed there and say it is a great place to stay and for a decent price! This is coming from people who used to only stay at Mandalay Bay, The Mirage and Bellagio. It is indeed a lot of fun at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and we do recommend it for the experiences which we just described.
One more thing we did experience at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas is the Luxor buffet they have!
I think the Luxor buffet is one of the better ones I have tried, yes I like my Las Vegas buffets!
It is one of my favorites, but it is also “regular”-priced ala $15-20. But, if you have the money to spend on a great buffet, then do it. Its good food and not to mention a cool dining experience with the whole ancient Egyptian theme in there.
Overall, the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas is one place we will be staying in the future and do recommend a visit or two, or more in order to check out the good times to be had at the Luxor Hotel Las Vegas and the Vegas strip!
